Beryl Loney went home to be with Jesus on January 6, 2021 at the age of 71.
She was the dearly loved wife of Raymond Loney for 51 years. She was the daughter of George and Margaret Parfitt. She was the phenomenal mother of Deirdre (Michael) Hale, Robert (DorLisa) Loney and Chantel (Gianni) Barbaro. She was a sister to Rod (Donna) Parfitt and Rosemary (Randy) Wallace. She was a fun-loving grandmother to Matthew and Timothy Hale, Madeline and Jackson Barbaro, CJ and Mikayla Loney. She was a caring and loyal friend. She was also the patient guardian of a strong-willed, adorable dog named Bennie.
Beryl was madly in love with her husband, Raymond. She loved people, the arts, learning, having fun, and her family but most of all she loved Jesus. She was a joyful person whose life motto was to “build”. She was a specialist in the worrying department. She worried about everybody and wanted everyone to be happy even those she barely knew. She was an Educational Assistant for many years and treasured being able to have an impact on children’s lives. She enjoyed retail therapy and all things colourful. She was a wonderful role model to her children of living in such a way to honour her Saviour Jesus Christ, loving her family and loving others. She could bake and cook so unbelievably well that all who knew her are sure to shed a few pounds imminently.
Beryl was always so thankful for the outstanding care she received any time she was at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Center and in remembrance to the family please make donations to the RVH Foundation https://foundation.rvh.on.ca/
